If you've considered entrepreneurship or need to inject innovation and entrepreneurship into your organization, you must join us at Venture Camp this spring! 

This series focuses on entrepreneurship and startups and builds off of the highly successful Summer and Fall 2012 sessions that touched over 1000 entrepreneurs and innovators in the greater Washington region

This spring we will explore important topics such as Venture Accelerators, Angel Investors and 3D Printing, then we'll wrap up the series with a Social Venture Pitch Fest. Don't miss the opportunity to hear from global thought leaders, learn cutting edge concepts, and build your entrepreneurial networks and toolkit.

3D Printing : A Revolution on Your Desktop

And you thought the internet was big? 3D printing is going to change the make up of our economy and society as much as the information revolution did in the 1990s and 2000s. Come get a peek into the future at this interactive event. 

Carl Pierre of In The Capital will moderate a panel with Dan Woods of Tech Shop, Brian Jacoby of Nova-Labs, Blake Perez of Virginia Tech's DREAMS Lab, and Darryl Motley from GoMeasure3D. They will highlight how their organizations fit into the emerging ecosystem and what they see for future of the industry, innovation and entrepreneurship. Moreover, there will be interactive displays and opportunities to meet members of the 3D printing community.

Here are some interesting 3D printing stories to think about before the event: 3D printed implant replaces 75% of patient's skull, 3D printing slashes costs of higher education optics lab by 90%, and even some of the futurists at the Navy sees big potential in 3D printing.
